St Anthony of Padua (aka St Anthony of Lisbon), was renowned as a great Miracle Worker. His gentle yet powerful persona has sparked an intense devotion to him from the faithful as a great intercessor with God. For that reason, many of the faithful have practiced a period of 9 days of prayer before his feast day on June 13th.
Today is the first day of this Novena to St Anthony.
