  1. Angelus autem Domini descendit de caelo, at accedens revolvit lapidem, et sedebat super eum, alleluia, alleluia. [For an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and rolled back the stone and sat upon it, alleluia, alleluia.]
  2. Et ecce terraemotus factus est magnus: Angelus enim Domini descendit de caelo, alleluia. [There was a great earthquake for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, alleluia.]
  3. Erat autem aspectus eius sicut fulgur, vestimenta autem eius sicut nix, alleluia, alleluia. [And his countenance was as lightning and his raiment as snow, alleluia, alleluia.]
  4. Prae timore autem eius exterriti sunt custodes, et facti sunt velut mortui,alleluia. [And for fear of him the guards were struck with terror and became as dead men, alleluia.]

Introit: (Ps 118:85, 46, 1) Narraverunt mihi iniqui fabulationes sed non ut le tua: ego autem loquebar de testimoniis tuis in conspectu regum et non confundebar (TP alleluia, alleluia.) PS Beati immaculati in via, qui ambulant in lege Domini. Gloria Patri… [The wicked have told me fables, but not as Thy law; but I spoke of Thy testimonies before kings, and I was not ashamed (PT alleluia, alleluia). Ps. Collect: O God, Who, through the foolishness of the Cross, didst wondrously teach blessed Martyr, Justin, the surpassing knowledge of Jesus Christ: grant us, by his intercession, that we may avoid the wiles of error and attain to firmness of faith.  Through our Lord. [indulgence]
